Coach job announcement

The parks department has posted the new coach job on the biparks website. Go to:

http://www.biparks.org/aboutus/employment.html

Concerning the upcoming coaching change

The Park District is putting together a Job Announcement/advertising and a Hiring Committee to search for a replacement for Lynn Wells as Head Coach. The Booster Club has been asked to provide two masters participants to serve on the committee. The goal is to find the right person to work effectively with the wide variety of participants in the BAM program. The process should take until the end of February.

To keep the team on course during that time, Rick Stafford, a long time masters swimmer & volunteer coach, has been appointed Interim Head Coach. Rick can't be at all the practices but will coordinate with those who have graciously come forward and volunteered to help with this challenge.

If you have any questions about your training, upcoming events, or other swimming related or coaching issues, you can reach Rick at 842-8211 or neriagepotter@gmail.com. If you have questions or concerns about the overall program, feel free to contact: John DeMeyer, Recreation Services Director, demeyer@biparks.org or 218-8108.
